Alba is not an opinionated CMS - it wasn't made to be a blog (looking at you Wordpress) or a newspaper editorial system (looking at you Joomla) - it's just a small platform to start building whatever the client needs.

We have used Alba to create a wide range of products for our clients: Marketing websites, document generators, illustration tools, learning management systems... it's not just for a simple site.

Creating templates, admin forms, and new content types are all done using developer-friendly industry standard formats and tools. Our philosophy is that you should be able to understand the system by looking at its code as well as it's documentation.
